Kansas City Ballet shares the joy of dance with students of all ages at the new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

Kansas City Ballet’s spectacular production of this ballet classic, choreographed by Todd Bolender, presents brilliant costumes and sets, dazzling special effects and live orchestral accompaniment by the Kansas City Symphony.
Location: Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
Fee: All seats $10 – includes teacher study guide
Audience: Grades 2-12
Length: 2 hours (includes intermission)
Chaperones: (Not more than) 1 per 15 students
Prepare your group before the show
See props, costume pieces, special effects, slides, audio excerpts, learn about the story, composer, performers, choreography and audience etiquette.

Inclement Weather Policy
Due to the varying weather policies of area schools planning to attend our student matinee performances, Kansas City Ballet will offer an alternate opportunity to attend a ballet performance or educational program in the event that a school is unable to attend their scheduled performance. Refunds will be given only in the event of cancellation of a performance by Kansas City Ballet.
